Overview
Set out to explore the rich musical and cultural heritage of Italy’s Veneto region through its historic cities, grand basilicas, and lively piazzas. Choirs, bands, and orchestras will perform in Vicenza and Verona, stopping along the way to visit Verona Arena, and set out to discover the rich art, architecture, and history of several nearby cities, including Venice—home to the famed Teatro la Fenice—and Padua.

Teatro Olimpico guided visit
Vicenza's Teatro Olimpico is one of Italy's most remarkable architectural treasures and the world's oldest surviving indoor theatre. Designed by renowned Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, it features a breathtaking wooden stage set that creates the illusion of a grand cityscape beyond the stage.

A defining landmark of Vicenza, the Basilica Palladiana reflects the city's rich Renaissance heritage and the legacy of Andrea Palladio, one of history's most influential architects. Set on the lively Piazza dei Signori, it offers a glimpse into the artistic and cultural traditions that helped earn Vicenza UNESCO World Heritage status.

Day 4
Venice excursion
Discover Teatro La Fenice, Venice's renowned opera house, on a guided tour. Rebuilt after two devastating fires, the theater has been restored in elegant 19th-century style. Learn about its rich operatic history, where celebrated composers including Rossini, Bellini, Verdi, and Donizetti premiered many of their greatest works.

Day 5
Verona city walk
Verona’s historic center reflects Roman, medieval, and Renaissance history. Piazza delle Erbe, once the Roman forum, remains a lively gathering place with frescoed buildings and markets. The Verona Arena, a 1st century BC amphitheater, is still used for performances today. The Castelvecchio Bridge spans the Adige River, showcasing Verona’s medieval strength and offering scenic city views.

Day 6
Padua guided sightseeing tour
Discover Padua, one of Italy's oldest and most influential cities, on a guided sightseeing tour. Visit the Basilica of St. Anthony, explore the historic Palazzo della Ragione, and stroll through Prato della Valle while discovering the city's rich artistic, architectural, and religious heritage.

WorldStrides provides over $2.5 million in financial assistance each year to thousands of families. Families with annual adjusted gross incomes of less than $85,000 may qualify. One simple call to Customer Service and you’ll know how much may be available for your trip even before signing up. Please note: financial assistance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Fundraising Tools
Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
