Jump into the vibrant capital of Puerto Rico. Visit El Morro, one of the Caribbean’s oldest forts, rising 140 feet above the sea with ramparts, tunnels, and dungeons to explore. Walk along the thick city walls connecting El Morro with El Castillo San Cristóbal and La Fortaleza, and pass through the San Juan Gate, once the only entrance to the fortified city. Discover colonial life at Casa Blanca, built for town founder Ponce de León, admire the 16th-century Catedral de San Juan, and visit the Pablo Casals Museum honoring the world-renowned cellist.
