Overview
Introduce your students to the rich history and diverse ecosystems of Puerto Rico. In San Juan, your group can look forward to exploring landmarks like El Morro and Casa Blanca and discovering the legacy of Pablo Casals at his dedicated museum. Your students will also embrace their adventurous side as they zipline through jungle canopy, snorkel along a coral reef, and enjoy a nighttime kayak through a bioluminescent bay.

San Juan Course Leader-led walking tour
Immerse yourself in over 500 years of history, from the 16th-century forts to colonial churches, on this casual, walking tour of this colorful, historic city. Stroll the blue cobblestone streets, explore beautiful plazas, and the Spanish architecture.

San Juan guided sightseeing tour
Visit El Morro, one of the oldest standing forts in the Caribbean, complete with tunnels and dungeons. Tour the largest Spanish fortification, San Cristobal, which served as a defense against pirates and invaders. Learn about colonial life and military strategies during the 16th to 18th centuries.

Zipline canopy tour
Let your adrenaline sore as you glide above Puerto Rico's lush, green canopies and take in the beauty of this tropical paradise. Get bird's eye views of the ocean shoreline, mountains, and lagoons. *Note this activity has a maximum weight capacity of 230lbs and a maximum waistline of 42".

Island excursion and snorkel trip
Hop aboard a charter boat to a secluded beach on a nearby island where you'll enjoy lunch. Sail to a nearby reef, learn safe snorkeling techniques, and explore the colorful, bountiful marine life.

El Yunque National Forest visit
Hike through this dense tropical forest for a truly sensory-filled experience. Admire the millennium-old trees while listening to the soundtrack of the chanting coquí frogs, and catch glimpses of the bright feathers of the Puerto Rican parrot.

Luquillo Beach free time
Enjoy the powder-soft sand, palm trees and warm, calm waters at this much-loved crescent shaped beach. Swim, soak up the sun, and sample delicious Puerto Rican treats from some of the many food vendors.

Bioluminescent Bay excursion
Embark on an unforgettable experience while kayaking through this special bay of tiny bioluminescent dinoflagellates. Learn about these single-celled organisms that illuminate the water with a magical blue light. *Please note this activity has a maximum weight capacity of 220lbs.
