Travel to Jaipur

Celebrate the rich, artistic folk culture of Rajasthan. Hear the rhythms of the classical music that reflects ancient Indian life and learn of its importance in Indian culture. Learn and perform the moves of traditional Rajasthani dances.
Day 5

Amber Fort excursion
Ride in a jeep up to Amber Fort, an ancient citadel.

Day 7
Travel to Agra
Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries as one of the four capitals of the Mughal Empire. Descended from Central Asia’s Timurids, the Mughals made Agra a center of political power and artistic brilliance, reaching their cultural peak here. Though its imperial grandeur has faded, modern Agra remains a lively city rooted in trade, craftsmanship, and echoes of its glorious past.
Visit Fatehpur Sikri
Visit the Taj Mahal
Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Construction began in 1632 in memory of Shah Jahan’s wife who, with her dying breath, requested that he build a mausoleum for her. The Taj (as it is often called) is considered the greatest example of Mughal architecture and its characteristic white dome is recognized world-wide. Sit beside the glass-like reflecting pool directly in front of the mausoleum and take in the surrounding manicured gardens and exotic flowers.

Travel to Delhi
Enjoy a scenic drive along India’s newly built expressway, offering a glimpse of both modern innovation and rural charm. Pass by the Gautam Buddha International Circuit, the country’s only world-class motor racing track, before continuing through stretches of green farmland and small villages scattered along the horizon.

Your physical and mental discipline are tested as you discover the origins of several forms of yoga and their importance in Indian history and culture. Can you master the poses?

At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Fundraising Tools
Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
