Overview
Perform at the Hollywood Heritage Festival in the entertainment capital of Los Angeles, where stars are born! Your students will enhance their performance skills with expert instruction and feedback by a panel of adjudicators. Plus, enjoy an included pass to Universal Studios Hollywood and celebrate in style at a Hollywood-worthy gala awards ceremony inside the park.
Itinerary
Day 1
Travel to Los Angeles, CA
AIM Experience Masterclass
Kick off the weekend with a customized masterclass through the AIM Experience. Spend 60-90 minutes working with a professional clinician to refine your festival performance, strengthen your skills, and reinforce classroom learning.
Pirate's Dinner Adventure (optional)
Arrr! Enjoy the world’s largest and most interactive dinner show – complete with great food, delightful entertainment, and an adventure featuring amazing aerial artistry, swashbuckling swordplay, and show stopping original music. All this set aboard an authentic replica of an 18th century Spanish Galleon afloat in a 250,000-gallon lagoon!
Day 2
First day of festival performances
Each ensemble will warm up in a private rehearsal room before taking the stage for a 30-35 minute performance. A panel of three adjudicators will provide written and recorded feedback, followed by an on-stage mini-clinic with a selected clinician. Students gain valuable guidance and reinforcement that supports classroom learning while creating meaningful opportunities for growth as developing musicians. Groups will also have the chance to watch and learn from peer performances.
Universal Studios Hollywood visit (optional upgrade)

Festival performances continue
Performances continue throughout the day, with your ensemble’s performance time shared in advance so you can plan your day accordingly.
Universal Studios Hollywood visit
Picture your best day ever - all the mischief, wonder and thrills in store at Universal Studios Hollywood. Imagine soaring over lands you’ve only seen on screen. And letting loose with some of your favorite characters on incredible rides. And of course, there’s the world-famous Studio Tour. It’s absolutely the best day in LA.
Exclusive Awards Ceremony at Universal Studios Hollywood
All groups will attend an exclusive Awards Ceremony inside the park! But this isn’t just any awards ceremony – you’ll even have the chance to meet some of Universal’s iconic characters. Choirs, orchestras, and bands will be celebrated for top scores in their class, and standout individuals will be honored for their exceptional performances.

Payment Plans
Advantage Payment Plan
At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Fundraising Tools
Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
