Overview
Are your students ready for a two-day educational adventure? Your group will experience the rich history of the Lone Star State during a visit to the Bullock Texas State History Museum and learn more about state government on a guided tour of the Texas State Capitol. Your students can also look forward to exploring Mount Bonnell, visiting the LBJ Presidential Library, and enjoying a campus tour of the University of Texas at Austin.

Bullock Texas State History Museum visit
Located in downtown Austin, the Bullock Texas State History Museum tells the “Story of Texas” with three floors of interactive exhibits, special effects shows in the Texas Spirit Theater, and Austin's premier IMAX Theatre.
Texas State Capitol visit
Tour through key areas of the Capitol building, providing insights into Texas history and the Texas Legislature.

Mount Bonnell Park visit
Take in sweeping views of Austin, the Colorado River, and Hill Country from the city’s highest point.
Texas Science and Natural History Museum visit
Explore a diverse range of exhibits that bring Texas’ natural history to life, from ancient fossils and native wildlife to cutting-edge scientific discoveries. Engage with interactive, hands-on learning experiences designed to spark curiosity and inspire students of all ages.

LBJ Presidential Library and Museum visit
Situated on a 30-acre site at The University of Texas campus in Austin, the library houses 45 million pages of historical documents, 650,000 photos, and 5,000 hours of recordings from President Johnson's political career. The museum collection features personal items owned, used, or worn by the president and first lady.

At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
