Girl Scouts Costa Rica Tour

When it comes to Girl Scouts, we work one-on-one with Troop Leaders and Councils to create incredible educational tours for the next generation of female leaders and innovators.

One of our favorite Girl Scout itineraries is our Girl Scout: Costa Rica Tour! Imagine exploring everything from the hot springs of the Arenal Volcano to the lush tropical canopies of Monteverde and even getting a chance to volunteer at a wildlife rescue center. This adventure is a bonding experience like no other.

A few highlights from our trip:

Trees Badge - The cadettes learned so much about wildlife, nature, and environmental topics, that they earned the Trees Badge! Coming together as a group to create and perform a skit on everything that they learned after volunteering to clear brush and plant a tree at a Wildlife Preserve. This was completely unplanned, and they researched to figure out that they met all requirements!
New activities and confidence building - Some of our Scouts were introduced to new activities and gained confidence by trying ziplining and snorkeling and absolutely loved the fun! Those who had done those things before encouraged and supported those who hadn't.
The food! - We had authentic Costa Rican meals, learned to make tortillas from scratch, and later was entertained with song and learned about the edible plants and vegetation found in Costa Rica.
