A local guide brings you to the Arc de Triomphe, the sweeping Champs- Élysées, and the gold-domed Les Invalides. Admire the interior of Notre Dame Cathedral, famous for its flying buttresses and intricately carved gargoyles.

Visit the Palace of Versailles

Picture the flow of royalty through the grounds of the Palace of Versailles. See the Hall of Mirrors and the royal apartments.

This costume workshop is a lively role-play activity that puts you in the shoes of the monarchy, clergy, nobility, bourgeoisie, or peasantry to explore the issues underlying the French Revolution.

Day 4 : Paris-Louvre

Take your time exploring the enormous Louvre, one of largest museums in the world.

This evening, enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.

Live the artist life. Explore line, color, perspective, negative space and form, then paint a masterpiece inspired by the beauty of Paris.

Day 5 : TGV-Nimes
Board High Speed Train to Provence

Explore Nimes

Admire the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct. Marvel at the Roman buildings of Nîmes: the Maison Carrée ("Square House") and the awesome Roman arena, the best preserved in France.

Day 6 : Nice

Day 7 : Nice
Explore Nice with your Tour Director

Morning sightseeing in Nice includes the Promenade des Anglais, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and the Matisse Museum in Cimiez. Later visit the charming town of St. Paul de Vence home of Chagall and see the Matisse Chapel in nearby Vence.

Explore St. Paul de Vence

Take part in an excursion and visit one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera.

Cooking class

Enjoy an authentic French cooking class and lunch.

Tour Central is staffed by WorldStrides employees and is available 24/7 for all traveling groups. Tour Central is there to assist you with any questions or problems that may arise—no matter how big or how small. The staff is specially trained to monitor events domestically and around the world, and has dozens of contingency plans in place to help us jump into action when necessary. The Tour Central number for your group is printed on the WorldStrides name badges that are given to all our travelers for easy access should you need it. Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program

Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
