Day 1 : Depart from the United States

Relax and enjoy your scheduled flight from the United States.

Arrive in the Dominican Republic

Breathe in the Caribbean air as you unpack and explore the amenities around the hotel.

Practice session at a nearby field

The team will participate in a practice session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly games.

Day 2 : Experience Santo Domingo
Breakfast at the hotel

Santo Domingo colonial tour

Take a Zona Colonial Tour and stroll the narrow streets to explore the old stone buildings in the area from which Spain launched its conquest of the New World. The team will walk the cobblestone streets which share the footsteps of Christopher Columbus, Ponce de León and Cortés.

Visit the Cathedral of Santa María la Menor

Tour the first cathedral in the New World. The late Gothic architecture includes Romanesque characteristics in the façade constructed of coral rock. The remains of Christopher Columbus were housed here until they were moved to the Columbus Lighthouse in 1992.

Tour the Royal Houses

Visit the Museum of the Royal Houses, a brick and coral building with high ceilings with hung portraits of the Spanish kings. The museum of the Royal Houses is made up of the Palace of the Captain-General and the Palace of the Royal Audiencia, which once served as the administrative center of the Spanish West Indies. The museum features colonial artifacts including military uniforms, weapons and maps.

Eco-Friendly Trikke Tour

Enjoy a guided tour filled with history and fun while riding eco-friendly three-wheeled electric scooters. Your team will travel around Santo Domingo to view important landmarks and monuments while hearing fascinating stories and urban legends.

Attend a professional game

Head to Juan Marichal Stadium to enjoy a Dominican Winter league game. The stadium is home for Tigres del Licey and Leones del Escogido. Engaging with the passionate crowds singing, cheering and chanting will produce an atmosphere that can only be understood through personal experience.

Day 3 : See Baseball in Another Light

Travel to a MLB training camp

The team will travel to an MLB training camp in Boca Chica to experience what it takes to be the best of the best.

Professional coaching clinic

Your team will participate in a special coaching clinic with a professional guest coach, player or instructor designed exclusively for the team to enhance skills in areas identified by the coaching staff.

First friendly game

Your team will play a friendly game against a local team of similar ages and skill levels.

Attend a professional game

The team will watch a game at Tetelo Vargas Stadium, home of the Estrellas Orientales team, in the baseball capital of the Dominican Republic, San Pedro de Macoris. Being at the game and feeling the passion and energy of the crowd is sure to pulsate through the veins of each player and create a feeling of immersion that cannot be matched.

Day 4 : Excursion to Saona Island

The team will participate in a practice session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly games.

Travel to Saona Island

The team will take a full-day excursion to Saona Island, a tropical island located a short distance from the mainland on the southeast tip of the Dominican Republic. It is a protected nature reserve and popular tourist destination. Saona Island is famous for its naturally beautiful beaches and has been used on many occasions by filmmakers and advertisers seeking a desert island setting.

Catamaran Cruise

Depart from the charming village of Bayahibe to sail on the Caribbean Sea aboard a 2-hour catamaran sail to Saona Island. This will be a relaxing and scenic cruise highlighting the extreme beauty of the Caribbean.

Enjoy Saona Island

Enjoy time relaxing or exploring Saona Island with many activities available including beach volleyball, beach soccer and swimming in the turquoise warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Palmilla Natural Pool

Leave Saona for the mainland by speedboat. En route, the team will stop at Palmilla or the "Piscina Natural" a sandbar providing the opportunity to feed hundreds of fish and take pictures with the starfish.

Day 5 : Back to Business

Travel to a MLB training camp

The team will travel back to the MLB training camp to prepare for two friendly games.

Double header

Your team will play back-to-back friendly games against local teams of similar ages and skill levels.

Attend a professional game

The team will enjoy a game of the Dominican Winter league in La Romana, home of the Azucareros del Este. Seeing some of the top talent in the world will be the breakthrough the players need to learn what it takes to be a true professional.

Day 6 : Spread the Love of the Sport

Practice session at a nearby field

The team will participate in a practice session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly games.

Global Ambassadors Through Baseball

The team will have a rewarding opportunity to volunteer their time and provide a coaching clinic for a youth or special needs team to spread the love and interest in the sport of baseball to the youth of the Dominican Republic.

Make a donation

The team will have the opportunity to donate baseball equipment, clothes and other items to share with the children.

Vitilla experience

The team will learn why Dominican players are such good batters as they participate in a game of vitilla. Vitilla is a form of street baseball played with a plastic bottlecap and broomstick. Resulting from their superior hand-eye coordination, vitilla players have been scouted by professional baseball teams in the USA.

Shop and explore

The team will have time to unwind from the day and shop and explore the surrounding area

Day 7 : Celebrate All of Your Hard Work

Practice session at a nearby field

The team will participate in a practice session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly games.

Rest and relaxation

The team will be free to relax at the pool or enjoy the sun and sand on the beach with multiple activities available.

Fourth friendly game

Your team will play a friendly game against a local team of similar ages and skill levels.

Awards presentation at dinner in the hotel restaurant

At the final dinner of the tour, awards celebrating the team, the experience and the sport of baseball will be presented.

Attend a professional game

The team will enjoy one final game of the Dominican Winter league as the tropical air and the roar of the crowd are the perfect way to sum up the tour experience.

Day 8 : Make the Turn for Home

Head to the airport

Be escorted to the airport by your Tour Director as the once-in-a-lifetime sports tour experience comes to an end.
