Australia Lacrosse Tour

Take your team Down Under on our Australia Lacrosse Tour. Arrive in Melbourne and see the city from the sea. After an afternoon of sightseeing, play your first international match. Then, it's off to Canberra where you will tour the Australian Institute of Sports. After your second match, fly to Sydney and enjoy a harbor cruise, Sydney Olympic Park, and Sydney Opera House before your final games.

Day 1 : Ready for Take Off!
Depart on an overnight flight to Melbourne International Airport

Sit back, relax, and enjoy your overnight flight

Day 2 : International Time Zone
Traveling

You will lose a day as you cross the International Time Zone. This day will be made up on the return flight

Day 3 : Welcome to Australia
Your Adventure Begins

Arrive in Melbourne Airport where you are met by your Excel Representative

Transfer by deluxe coach to hotel

Check into your 3* Melbourne area hotel where you will be staying for the following two nights

See the City from the Sea

Enjoy a River Cruise down the Yarra River. This is a wonderful way to see the city

Panoramic Views

Ascend the Rialto Towers Observation Deck to have a 360 degree view of Melbourne

Day 4 : Exploring Melbourne

Werribee Park, Mansion

Known as "the palace in the paddock" the 60-room Italianate mansion was built in 1877, and was quite an extravagant project in its day. In addition to touring the house, we will stroll around the grounds surrounded by 325 acres of bushland fronting the Werribee River

Optional sightseeing which could include Dandenong Rangers National park, or Emerald Lake

Day 5 : Australia's Capital City
Breakfast at hotel

Transfer by deluxe coach to your 3* Canberra area hotel where you will be staying for the following two nights

Today, we will travel to Canberra, Australia's Capital City

Sightseeing in Canberra

Afternoon free for sightseeing on own. Perhaps take a Guided Biking Tour of Canberra, which features over 74 miles of bike paths, making it perfect for exploring on two wheels. Conclude our afternoon with an ascent of the Telstra Tower, which rises 644 ft. above the summit of Black Mountain, and features both open-air and enclosed viewing galleries that provide magnificent 360 degree views over Canberra and the surrounding countryside

Day 6 : Explore All That Australia Has To Offer
Breakfast at hotel

Australian War Memorial

Guided tour of the Australian War Memorial; a monument to Australian troops who gave their lives for their country

Australian Institute of Sports

Explore the first-class training facility that is used by Australia's elite athletes. We will take a guided tour led by one of the institutes athletes, which will include visits to the gymnasium, basketball courts, and Olympic swimming pool to see training in progress. There is also a fascinating interactive sports display where we can test our sporting skills

This evening, play your second international friendly game vs. a local Australian team!

Day 7 : Depart for Sydney

Check into your 3* Sydney area hotel where you will be staying for the following 4 nights

Sightseeing in Sydney

Sightseeing will begin with a Sydney Habour Cruise. Cruise past the famous Opera House and the Sydney Aquarium

More Sightseeing Time

Conclude the afternoon of sightseeing with a visit to the A.M.P. Centrepoint Tower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, which resembles a giant steel pole skewering a golden marshmallow. Standing more than 1,860 ft. tall, it offers stupendous 360 degree views across Sydney and as far as the Blue Mountains. Fortunately, an elevator takes us to the indoor viewing platform, and after our viewing, we can spend a bit of time below the tower, where there are three floors of stores and restaurants

Day 8 : Explore Modern Sydney
Breakfast at hotel

Sydney Olympic Park

Visit the site of the 2000 Olympic Games. Most of the Olympic venues are at the dedicated Olympic precinct at Homebush Bay, and our first port of call will be the Homebush Bay Information Centre, which offers displays, walking maps, and tour tips

Stadium Australia

Visit the site of the Olympic Opening and Closing ceremonies, the track and field events, and some Olympic soccer games, and we will take a "Behind the Scenes" Tour. We will conclude our time at the Olympic Park as we ascent to Level 17 of the Novotel Hotel, located in the park, which features wonderful views of the Sydney Olympic Park and the city

Day 9 : Sydney's Famous Landmarks

World Famous Opera House

Only a handful of building around the world are as architecturally and culturally significant as the Sydney Opera House. But what sets it apart is that this white-sailed construction caught mid-billow over the waters of Sydney Cover is a working building

Sydney Aquarium

One of the world's best aquariums. The main attractions are the underwater walkways through two enormous tanks, one with an impressive collection of creatures found in Sydney Harbour, the other full of giant rays and gray nurse sharks. Other excellent exhibits include a giant Plexiglas room suspended inside a pool patrolled by rescued seals, and a magnificent section on the Great Barrier Reef, where thousands of colorful fish school around coral outcrops

Day 10 : Enjoy Your Last Day In Sydney

This morning, play your fourth and final lacrosse game vs. a local Australian side
