L.E.A.P to learn Our learning difference

Our trademarked approach to learning—LEAP—actively involves students in what they're seeing and doing. This active engagement between students, the places they visit, and their Course Leaders allows students (and teachers) to absorb more and build their knowledge and social skills. We’re an actual school We’re a school, too.

WorldStrides is accredited by educational bodies across the country, and we have a dedicated Curriculum and Academics Department—this means we're an actual school (we just don't have walls!). As a school, we can offer students high school and college credit, and teachers free professional development. Welcome to real-world learning Travel brings the classroom to life.

Whether reliving the past or discovering the future, true learning can't be done from a distance. It requires hands-on exploration and travel delivers it! When students get up close with the subjects they've only read about in books, learning moments are brought to life in a way in a way not possible in the classroom.

What our teachers and travelers say about this U.S. History trip?

“Our trip was amazing! My group got to view sights we studied in class. It really put History in a whole new light for them and myself. Not one time did I feel unsafe and didn’t know where I was going or where my guide was. I can’t wait to go again!”
—Susan, Arizona

“The planned itinerary was spectacular. The students and parents were raving about the experience. Each minute was packed with well thought out activities.”
—Diana, Oklahoma

“We had an amazing trip from start to finish. I felt very comfortable with the knowledge, insight, and character of our tour guide. Everything went off without a hitch.”
—Allen, Colorado

This is the second child I have sent on a WorldStrides trip to DC. Even though the trip is short it is FILLED with fun and educational stops and tours. Both of my kids came home from this trip and thanked me for sending them! The memories from these trips last a lifetime.
