Your Adventure, Day by Day

Day 1 Depart from North America
  • Fly to Rome Board an overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2 Arrive in Italy!
  • Explore Rome Welcome to the capital city of Italy! Begin your exploration with your Tour Director.
Day 3 Vatican & Ancient Rome
  • See Vatican City This morning, visit the Vatican with a local guide and discover with your own eyes the artistic legacy of Catholicism in the lavish decorations of the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica.
  • Discover Rome This afternoon, follow in the footsteps of ancient Romans as they cheered gladiators in the Colosseum, listened to philosophers at the Roman Forum, and walked proudly under the Arch of Constantine. A local guide will lead you through the ancient sights.
  • Add on: LEAP Caesar's Gladiators Optional activity.
Day 4 Florence
  • Travel to Beautiful Florence
  • See Florence A local guide introduces "the Cradle of the Renaissance": see the Duomo, Ghiberti's Baptistry doors, the tiny shops on the Ponte Vecchio, and the Church of Santa Croce. Visit the Accademia to see Michelangelo's David.
Day 5 Milan
  • Journey to Milan
  • Discover Milan Italian culture surrounds you on walking tour as you see the city sights, such as La Scala opera house, Sforzesco Castle, and the Gothic Cathedral, a forest of spires and statuary.
  • On to Paris Board an overnight train to Paris
Day 6 Paris
  • Explore Paris Your local guide gives you an up-close view of the Arc de Triomphe, the sweeping Champs-Élysées, Napoleon's gold-domed Les Invalides, and the Gothic splendor of Notre Dame Cathedral.
  • Louvre Museum Visit the Louvre to see Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and marvel at the Venus de Milo.
  • Add on: Eiffel Tower Tour This evening opt to enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.
Day 7 Versailles
  • Discover the Palace of Versailles Picture the flow of royalty through the vast grounds and gardens of the Palace of Versailles. A tour brings you to the Hall of Mirrors, the royal chapel and the gardens.
  • LEAP Seize the Château!
  • LEAP Cover the Canvas Live the artist's life. Explore line, color, perspective, negative space and form, then paint a masterpiece inspired by the beauty of Paris.
Day 8 Eurostar to London
  • On to London Take the Eurostar through the Channel Tunnel to London.
Day 9 London
  • See London A local guide brings you to the city's highlights. View Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square with Nelson's Column, and lively Piccadilly Circus. End your tour at the Changing of the Guard (seasonal).
Day 10 Return Home OR Extend your Stay
  • Bye, London! Board your flight home or choose to stay an extra day.
