Your Adventure, Day by Day

Day 1 Depart from North America
  • Flight to Paris Relax and enjoy your scheduled flight from North America.
Day 2 Arrive in Paris
  • Welcome to France! Fly through the night to the captivating capital city of France. Begin to explore.
Day 3 Paris-Louvre
  • Explore Paris with a local guide: A local guide shows you the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the sweeping Champs-Élysées, and the gold-domed Les Invalides. Admire the interior of Notre Dame Cathedral, famous for its flying buttresses and intricately carved gargoyles
  • Visit the Louvre Museum Art lovers welcome a visit to the incredible and enormous Louvre Museum.
  • Travel to the top of the Eiffel Tower Tonight, enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.
Day 4 Versailles and Chartres
  • Discover the Palace of Versailles Picture the flow of royalty through Louis XIV's Palace of Versailles. Tour the immense Hall of Mirrors, the royal apartments and the gardens.
  • LEAP Seize the Château!
  • Visit the Chartres Cathedral Later, admire Chartres Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the world.
  • Continue to the Loire Valley Enjoy the ride to the Loire Valley.
Day 5 Loire Château
  • Discover Loire Château Compare the grace of the Chenonceau with the stark, imposing battlements of Amboise during your visit to these well-known château.
  • Visit a French Wine Cave Journey through the vineyards of the Loire Valley, and visit an authentic French wine "cave".

Day 6 Lascaux Caves
  • Explore the Lascaux caves In the Dordogne Valley, explore the ancient mystery of cave paintings in the Lascaux caves.
  • Continue to Rocamadour Continue to Rocamadour, a three-tier town built into a cliff face above the Alzou Canyon.
Day 7 Carcassonne and Les Baux
  • Explore Carcassonne Explore the medieval walled city of Carcassonne.
  • LEAP Painters' Provence
  • Visit Les Baux En route to Provence, visit the fortress of Les Baux.
  • Continue to Provence Take in the French countryside as you ride to Provence.
Day 8 Nîmes and Pont Du Gard

  • Take a walking tour of Nîmes Marvel at the outstanding Roman buildings of Nîmes: the Maison Carrée and the awesome Roman arena, the best preserved in France.
  • See the Pont du Gard See the huge Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard.
Day 9 Return Home to the United States
  • Flight to the US Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us to the airport on our final day, or extend your stay in Paris and Nice.
