Arrive in the German capital, Berlin, and begin exploring.

Day 3 : Berlin
Tour the City

Sightseeing with a local guide introduces Germany's capital, the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, and the Berlin Wall.

Reichstag Dome visit

Take an elevator up into the stunning Glass Dome to witness dramatic views both internally of the building and externally of Berlin.

Add on: Potsdam

Opt to Visit the Rococo palace of Sans Souci, to see the rich interior, Roman-style baths, and lush gardens of the palace where Frederick the Great was entertained by Voltaire and Bach.

Day 4 : Dresden & Prague
Slavic History

Visit the historic city of Dresden, an ancient Slavic settlement. Admire the magnificent Baroque and Rococo architecture of buildings that were carefully restored to their former glory.

Frauenkirche & Dresden Schloss

Explore the Frauenkirche, a sombre reminder of the destruction of the city in 1945, and the Dresden Schloss.

Travel to Prague

Continue through the hills of Bohemia to the “Golden City” of Prague in the Czech Republic.

Discover Prague with a Local Guide

A local guide brings you to the sights, including the artists’ homes in the Golden Lanes, somber Tyn Church, Charles Bridge, and the grand astronomical clock.

Enjoy a visit to Hradcany, a wonderful castle with sharp spires and ragged rooflines.

Day 6 : Travel to Vienna

Travel to Vienna, the capital and largest city in Austria.

Explore Munich, where a local guide brings you to the Olympic stadium, the Glockenspiel, the brilliance of the miniature palace of Nymphenburg, and the impressive Frauenkirche.

Dachau

Visit the former concentration camp at Dachau.

Discover the links between traditional dance and Bavarian history. Listen to and learn Bavarian music while participating in ancient folklore storytelling. You’ll also learn (and demonstrate) a variety of traditional dance steps as taught by local experts.

Day 10 : Return to the United States

Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us to the airport on our final day.

    Do you offer 24-hour emergency support?

    Yes. The safety and security of our traveling teachers and students is our top priority, and one measure we take to ensure this safety, and support, is through Tour Central. Tour Central is staffed by WorldStrides employees and is available 24/7 for all traveling groups. Tour Central is there to assist you with any questions or problems that may arise—no matter how big or how small. The staff is specially trained to monitor events domestically and around the world, and has dozens of contingency plans in place to help us jump into action when necessary. The Tour Central number for your group is printed on the WorldStrides name badges that are given to all our travelers for easy access should you need it. This is just one of the many measures that we take to ensure that your trip really is the experience of a lifetime.

Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program

Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
