Is there an easy way to see the student’s payment record to date?

Yes. The student’s payment record to date information is located in MyTrip. Once you are logged into MyTrip,  click on Manage Your Account from the drop-down menu.  You will then click on the trip participant’s name and all payment history details should appear.
