Compete internationally on our Germany Volleyball Tour. Arrive in Munich and explore the city with a local guide, seeing sights like Königsplatz square, Lenbach House, and Siegestor gate. Play your first international match, then travel to Dusseldorf for a day of sightseeing. Then, it’s on to Augsburg where you will visit the State of Bavaria ahead of your next match. Continue on to Austria and explore Salzburg, home of Mozart, before your next game. Return to Munich for your final game.

Day 1 Depart from North America
  • Depart on an overnight flight to Munich Airport Sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight
Day 2 Welcome to Munich!

  • Free afternoon for lunch and sightseeing in Munich
  • Dinner at hotel
  • Match Time This evening, participate in your first friendly match against a German side
Day 4 Depart for Dusseldorf
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Explore Dusseldorf Enjoy a two hour guided walking tour of Dusseldorf. Sights to see; Kaiserswerth, a historical district with the ruined castle of Barbarossa Frederick I, Holy Roman Emperor, Schloss Beneath, a rococo castle, Hofgarten, the old city park, St. Suitbertus Basilica and more!
  • This afternoon, free time or sightseeing and shopping in Dusseldorf
  • Dinner at hotel
Day 5 Explore Augsburg
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Transfer by deluxe coach to Augsburg
  • Sightseeing Time in Augsburg Free day for sightseeing. See the Town Hall, Perlachturm (a bell tower built in 1182), Dorint Hotel Tower, St. Ulrich and St. Afra, Mozart Haus Augsburg (where Mozart's father was born and Mozart visited several times)

  • Match Time This evening, play your second international match vs. a German side
Day 6 Sightseeing in Munich

  • Morning practice session
  • Exploring Munich Free afternoon for sightseeing in Munich. Visit the State of Bavaria, see the royal antique collection at Glytothek, or the Schloss Nymphenburg Palace
  • Dinner at hotel
Day 7 Depart for Austria

  • Sightseeing Time Enjoy a day of sightseeing in Salzburg. You can see the Cathedral and St. Peter's Abbey, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mozart's birthplace, Salzach-River and much more!

Day 8 Last Day in Munich!

  • Free time for last sightseeing Free day to explore. Visit the City Center, and the old city walls; visit Neuhausen and Nymphenburg district, known for its relaxing atmosphere; or visit Thalkirchen and walk along the river Isar

  • Last Game This evening, play your fourth international game vs. a German side
Day 9 Depart for North America
