St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland

Ireland - the name conjures a land shrouded in myth and legend and surrounded by beautiful scenery. But as connected as the island is to its past, it has contributed to the modern world through literature, art, and music. This rich nation is characterized by pride and spirit that is immediately irresistible. A visit to Ireland is a visit to the past, and a new view of the present. Ireland is the one place on earth that heaven has kissed with melody, mirth, and meadow and mist.

Trinity College

Discover Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland. Trinity was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. The beautiful campus features cobbled squares, gardens, a picturesque quadrangle and buildings that date from the 17th to 20th centuries. Trinity College is also home to the Book of Kells, an 8th-century version of the four Gospels decorated with elaborate scripting and illumination.

Got questions? We have answers!

Is there an monthly payment plan available?

Yes. If you opt not to pay for your trip in full, you will be placed on a monthly payment plan. With this plan, payments are spread out across the months leading up to your trip, with the final balance due, in most cases, 75 days prior to travel.  A $6 handling fee applies for each monthly installment payment, unless you elect to use EZPay.  EZPay, our most popular payment option, automatically deducts each payment from an account you authorize us to use. The monthly handling fees are eliminated and you never have to worry about the possibility of incurring a late fee. You can elect EZPay at time of registration or you can switch to this option by calling WorldStrides Customer Service at 800-468-5899.

Do you offer 24-hour emergency support?

Yes. The safety and security of our traveling teachers and students is our top priority, and one measure we take to ensure this safety, and support, is through Tour Central. Tour Central is staffed by WorldStrides employees and is available 24/7 for all traveling groups. Tour Central is there to assist you with any questions or problems that may arise—no matter how big or how small. The staff is specially trained to monitor events domestically and around the world, and has dozens of contingency plans in place to help us jump into action when necessary. The Tour Central number for your group is printed on the WorldStrides name badges that are given to all our travelers for easy access should you need it. This is just one of the many measures that we take to ensure that your trip really is the experience of a lifetime.

Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program

Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
