Your Adventure, Day by Day

Day 1 Departure from North America
  • Flight to Tel Aviv We will enjoy full meal service on our scheduled wide-bodied flight to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 Arrive in Tel Aviv
  • Arrive at Hotel We will be met at the airport by our bus driver and a meet and greet guide for transfer to our hotel. We’ve had a long day of travel so we will take today to rest and regain our strength for the rest of our tour.
Day 3 Tel Aviv - Jerusalem
  • Quick Tour of Tel Aviv Before we depart Tel Aviv, we will take a drive around town to view several of the city’s most famous sites. We will start in Old Jaffa, where Dorcas was resurrected and Peter’s Vision, and then continue to the heart of Israel’s commerce and culture, Tel Aviv. Soon we will climb the Judean Hills, as we travel along the ancient route between Jaffa and Jerusalem.
  • Model of Jerusalem & Shrine of the Book Upon our arrival, we will take an introductory driving tour around some of the Nation’s historic landmarks such as the Hebrew University, the Knesset and the State Supreme High Court. Then we will visit the Second Temple period Model of Jerusalem and the Shrine of the Book, housing part of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Day 4 Jerusalem
  • Garden of Gethsemane Our day starts as we drive to the top of Mount Scopus and Mount of Olives, where Jesus ascended into heaven for amazing views of the city. Then we will make our way to the Garden of Gethsemane, believed to be home to the rock that Jesus prayed upon, and the Church of All Nations via the Palm Sunday Walk.
  • Cenaculum & Dormition Alley Next we will go to Mount Zion to visit the Cenaculum, where we believe Jesus celebrated the Last Supper, and the Dormition Abbey, built by Kaiser Wilhelm II to commemorate when the Virgin Mary “fell asleep.”
  • Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu Our next visit will be the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu, built on what is believed to have been the site where Peter denied Jesus. Next we will go on a walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, entering via St Stephen’s Gate to visit St Anne’s Church, a Crusader church that was originally built to commemorate the birth of Mary’s mother.
  • Holy Sepulcher Next we will walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross to Calvary to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The final stops in our walk will be to view the Dome of the Rock, considered to be the third holiest site in the Islamic world, and the Western Wailing Wall, the holiest site in Judaism.
Day 5 Jerusalem
  • Yad Hashmona Bible Garden This morning we will drive to Ein Karem to visit the Yad Hashmona Bible Garden, created to help bring the bible to life for Christians and Jews.
  • Yad Vashem Then we will visit Yad Vashem and the Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, a museum dedicated to the documentation of the history of the Jewish people during the Holocaust.
  • Communion at the Garden Tomb This afternoon, we will have a chance to celebrate Communion at the Garden Tomb, where Jesus was laid upon his death and rose again from the dead.
Day 6 Jerusalem – Jordan Valley – Megiddo – Tiberias
  • Genesis Land This morning we will travel into the Judean Desert to visit Genesis Land, where we will learn about the lifestyle of the Hebrews. Then we will continue our journey into the Jordan Valley, passing Jericho and Gideon’s Springs, whose soldiers were chosen to defeat the Midianites.
  • Meggido Our next stop will be Megiddo, a chariot city of King Solomon, where we will view the water system of King Ahab and the Valley of Armageddon, location for the last war at the end of days.
Day 7 Tiberias – Galilee – Amman, Jordan
  • Mount of the Beatitudes Our morning begins as we ascend the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount was given.
  • Capernaum Next we will journey to Capernaum, the town where Jesus first assembled his disciples to view remains of the ancient synagogue.
  • Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes Then we will visit the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes in Tabgha, built on the site where it is believed that Jesus fed a multitude of people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.
  • Yardenit Next we will visit Yardenit, located along the Jordan River and believed to be the site of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist. Then we will cross into Jordan at the Sheikh Hussein Border Crossing to arrive at our hotel in Amman.
Day 8 Day Trip to Madaba, Mt. Nebo & Jerash
  • Madaba Today we will journey to Madaba, or “The City of Mosaics,” so noted because of the number of Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics found in the city and on display in a museum. We will see the large Byzantine mosaic map of Palestine and the Nile delta
  • Mt. Nebo Then we will continue on to Mount Nebo, the last stop for Moses after leaving Egypt and is where Moses struck the rock for a second time. There is also a sanctuary here, built on the site where it is believed that Moses was buried.
  • Jerash Finally we will stop in Jerash, a Roman Decapolis city and one of the best-preserved Roman cities outside of Italy. We return to our hotel in Amman for the evening.
Day 9 Day Trip to Petra
  • Petra Today we will take this opportunity to explore Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former center of commerce and trade. This 2,000-year-old concealed city made of sandstone was built to last and serves as the legacy of the Nabateans, a nomadic tribe that settled in this area with Petra as their capital who excelled at water conservation as well. We will return to our hotel in Amman for the evening.
Day 10 Departure from Amman
  • Flight Home Our enjoyable and rewarding tour will come to an end a guide accompanies us to the airport for our return flight home.
