- Arrive in Orlando, FL:
Meet your WorldStrides representative and get ready for an action-packed adventure.
Explore as many attractions as you can! A few of our favorite attractions are:
- Future World:
A Vision For Tomorrow Students have the opportunity to visit exciting attractions such as Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land and many more.
- World Showcase:
Explore the culture and cuisine of eleven nations with a journey around the World Showcase at Epcot.
- IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth:
Be dazzled by this nightly symphony of music, lasers, fireworks and magic!
- Hotel check-in:
Day 2 :
Discover Tampa, FL!
- Breakfast and depart for Tampa:
- Island Adventures:
Explore one of Florida's most popular beaches at Fort DeSoto State Park. Take part in a shark dissection, kayak around mangroves, and snorkel beside a historic beach-side fort from the Spanish-American War. Then, grab a net to explore marine life in the seagrass beds.
- Lunch and return to Orlando:
Check out more than 100 interactive exhibits that explore the answers to the unexplained in this wacky, zany science museum.
- WonderWorksTM Outta Control Dinner Show:
Enjoy unlimited pizza and laugh the night away watching (and maybe being a part of) the show!
- Return to hotel:
Day 3 :
Space and beyond!
- Kennedy Space Center:
Learn the incredible story of NASAs 30-year Space Shuttle Program at the new Space Shuttle Atlantisexhibit. View this massive shuttle from different angles and see the wear and tear of its 33 missions. Then, experience the interactive launch simulator and discover what it's like to be an astronaut during a space shuttle launch.
- Lunch with a Veteran Astronaut:
Get the inside scoop on an astronaut's personal experiences with one of the most riveting professions.
- Saturn V Center at Kennedy Space Center:
Board the bus for an Apollo/Saturn V Center tour where you will see a 363-foot moon rocket! Don't miss the Firing Room Theater which re-creates an Apollo launch and the Lunar Theater which depicts the first moon landing.
- Conservation Up Close:
If you dare, you'll experience up- close encounters with alligators, snakes, and other animals! Here you and your friends will explore Floridas most unique ecosystem on an airboat ride in the wetlands - and gain a greater awareness of its endangered species.
- Return to hotel:
Day 4 :
Spend the Day at Disney!
- Disney's Magic Kingdom: YES Seminar:
Even if you've been to Disney's Magic Kingdom before, you've never seen it like this! Participate in dynamic behind-the-scenes seminars available only to school groups. Disney Youth Education Series options vary based on the day of the week, but the following two options are our groups most popular choices:
- Option 1: Properties of Motion:
Ride major attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain to explore the laws of physics and collect data. Become theme park scientists for a day as you apply the scientific method and explore the acceleration, velocity, and potential and kinetic energy that all play a hand in creating that fantastic adrenaline rush!
- Option 2: Energy and Waves:
Go behind the scenes toexamine the properties of light, sound, and magnetic waves of Disney's The Haunted Mansion. This workshop teaches how energy is manipulated to create these spectacular special effects.
- Magic Kingdom and more:
After lunch, the group will remain at the Magic Kingdom to explore even more shows and attractions.
Day 5 :
Participate in Ocean Discovery!
- Breakfast and hotel check-out:
- Animal Kingdom:
Visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Encounter real and mythical animals while embarking on the Kilimanjaro Safari across the African Savannah or riding a high altitude coaster in Expedition Everest to escape the legendary Yeti.
- Animal Kingdom:
Over 2,000 animals call the Animal Kingdom home, so youre sure to glimpse some of your favorites from lions, tigers, gorillas, to sea turtles, and migratory birds.
- Depart Orlando for home:
