Your Adventure, Day by Day

Day 1 Depart from North America
  • Flight Board an overnight flight to England.
Day 2 Arrive in London
  • Welcome! Arrive in London, the cosmopolitan capital of England, and begin exploring.
Day 3 London
  • See London With a local guide, discover the pageantry and splendor of this former imperial capital, including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Nelson's Column, and the Houses of Parliament. End with the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (seasonal).
Day 4 Windsor Castle and Bath
  • Visit Windsor Castle Visit the Queen's favorite palace at Windsor.

  • Bath This afternoon, stroll through Jane Austen's city of Bath and explore the ancient Roman baths that gave the city its name.
Day 5 Stonehenge
  • Visit Stonehenge The exact function of the Neolithic circle of stone at Stonehenge remains unclear, but the mystique of the place and the amazing achievement of its builders are easy to see.
  • Travel to Normandy Board the steamer to Normandy.
Day 6 Normandy
  • Bayeux Tapestry See the Bayeux Tapestry, which is both a magnificent medieval work of art and an historic document of great importance.
  • Explore Normandy Visit the Museum of the Battle of Normandy, the D-day invasion beaches, the American military cemetery, and relive the invasion with the Soldiers' Stories.

Day 7 Giverny
  • Visit Monet's Home Visit the impressionist Monet's house and garden at Giverny, the inspiration for many of his greatest works. (Before April 1, a trip to Auvers-sur-Oise, where van Gogh spent his last days, will be substituted.)
  • Journey to Paris Travel to the capital of France.
Day 8 Paris
  • Explore Paris Fall in love with the romantic City of Lights, Paris. A local guide introduces the imposing Arc de Triomphe, the golden-domed Les Invalides, the Champs-Élysées, and the cathedral of Notre Dame.
  • Louvre Museum See da Vinci's Mona Lisa and many other incredible works of art in the Louvre.
  • Add on: Eiffel Tower Tour Opt to enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.
Day 9 Paris to Barcelona
  • Add on: LEAP Cover the Canvas Optional activity.
  • Fly to Barcelona Board a flight to Barcelona.
Day 10 Barcelona
  • Discover Barcelona A local guide introduces you to Barcelona—the Olympic Stadium, the Medieval Cathedral, the Parc Güell, and Gaudí's unfinished Sagrada Família.
  • Casa Milà Tour Gaudí's Casa Milà.
  • Barri Gòtic Explore the Barri Gòtic.
Day 11 Dalí Museum
  • Add on: Dalí Museum in Figueres Opt for an excursion to Figueres. Surrealist art lovers will especially enjoy visiting the hometown of the famous Salvador Dali. Explore the Theatre and Museum he built to memorialize his life's work. The museum boasts the largest collection of his work, including paintings, sculptures, mechanical devices, 3D collages, and even living room furniture! It's certainly a sight to see!
Day 12 Madrid
  • AVE to Madrid Take a journey on the AVE to the capital of Spain, Madrid.
  • LEAP Spirit of Spain
Day 13 Prado and Reina Sofía
  • Explore Madrid Sightseeing in Madrid with a local guide includes the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Puerta del Sol, and ends at the Prado Museum. In the Prado, see many works by Velazquez and El Greco.
  • Reina Sofía Museum Admire Picasso's Guernica at the nearby Reina Sofía Gallery.
  • LEAP Cocina Española
Day 14 Return Home OR Extend your Stay
  • Bid Farewell! Board your flight home, or choose to extend your time in Spain.
