  • Sightseeing Tour (optional) Explore the nation's capital with a full day of sightseeing! Stop by the Smithsonian Museums, snap some photos at the Lincoln Memorial, catch a glimpse of the president at the White House, and pay your respects at the Arlington National Cemetery. We can even add a personal tour guide to show you around Washington, D.C.
  • Concert at the Naval Academy Join us for an organ concert in the chapel at the Naval Academy and a performance by the Naval Academy band or Glee Club. Admission is included in your package! April 7 will feature the Men's Glee Club. April 21 will feature the Naval Academy Band.
Day 3 Festival Performance Day!
  • Festival Performances Today is festival day! Festival performances run throughout the day at your event venue. After arriving at your concert venue, your group will warm up in a private rehearsal room. Each ensemble will perform for 15 minutes on stage. A panel of three adjudicators will provide written and recorded feedback for each performance. Following your performance, a select adjudicator will conduct a mini-clinic on stage with your group, providing valuable feedback and reinforcement for your classroom teachings.
  • Exhibition Festival Weekend The exhibition festival format provides four different musical experiences for your ensemble: 30 minutes for warm-up; 20 minutes for your adjudicated performance; 30 minutes for your master class with one of your adjudicators; and audience participation. Your participation in this non-competitive format means that the focus of your experience centers on educational benefits. You can expect positive, constructive comments from your adjudicators after your performance and more in-depth critique and instruction during your master class. These qualities, combined with the experience of performing at a national festival, will not only give your students new tools for improving their skills, it will inspire them!
  • Celebration Dinner at Medieval Times Once the festival is over, head over to Medieval Times for a celebratory dinner tournament or awards ceremony with all your new friends!
Day 4 Departure Day
  • Bye, Annapolis! Depart for home or stay an extra day or two! Our team can help you arrange travel or extra time in Annapolis.
