We believe real immersion in a culture makes for a more authentic experience. We want you to eat like the natives do, so we take you to local restaurants. We want you to bunk down right in the center of the action, so we put you in centrally located hotels. All this means more local flavor, and more hours to enjoy it! What our teachers and travelers say about our Central European trips?

“I went on a tour to Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and Krakow and there are seriously no words to describe how perfect it was. Despite it raining for 2 days, it was by far the BEST experience of my lifetime. I don’t think that any vacation will ever top it. We had Gill D as our tour guide and let’s just say THIS WOMAN IS AMAZING.  I wish I lived in Prague, that is how amazing this city is.  The tour was stunning, what we saw was incredible, and I am beyond happy with my decision to go on this trip.”
—Matt, New York

“Wow, what a trip! It was an aggressive itinerary but I’m glad that we got to see all that we could. Loved the salt mines, German dance lessons and cooking in Berlin. Hans, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, entertaining and organized. The dinners were good, the breakfasts were wonderful. I loved how the students were constantly involved in the events—it kept them interested and informed.”
±Beth, Indiana

“We had a great time in Germany and we all learned a tremendous amount about German history and culture. As a veteran AP European History teacher, I would recommend this trip to anyone seriously interested in German and  European history. I only wish I could have taken more students.”
—Jim, Texas

The tour was packed with little down time. We had a spectacular leader who was impressively organized, informed, and patient with us! I loved our hotels in Prague and Krakow and were happy with the meals provided.

Comments about WorldStrides Tours to Central and Eastern Europe:

From the beginning of the planning phase to boarding the plane, the process could not have been easier! The planning and bookings staff are professional and always accessible! The tour itself was simply fantastic! The hotels and restaurants were all great choices! The hotels were centrally located; they were clean and provided a superior breakfast everyday! The restaurants severed culturally authentic meals in friendly environments! Lastly, our driver and tour guide. Both were wonderful and easy to work with! It was evident that they had our best interests at heart and wanted to create live-long positive memories for the students!! This was my third tour, and there will be a fourth!

Comments about WorldStrides Tours to Central and Eastern Europe:

I began with NETC, and will continue to travel with WorldStrides as long as I lead trips.
"Europe East and West" was a perfectly-run tour with a balanced itinerary that contained many interesting, scenic, informational activities, while still allowing enough time for students to explore and learn on their own.
Our tour guide, Charlotte, was tireless, upbeat, incredibly knowledgeable, very funny, and managed to inspire interest and learning at every turn. The high school students, both boys and girls, felt encouraged and empowered to ask questions, show off their previously learned and newly acquired knowledge, and simply soak in the scenes and culture. I couldn't have asked for a better guide!
The accommodations and restaurants were first-rate, as always. I am counting the days until my next trip with WorldStrides!
