We believe real immersion in a culture makes for a more authentic experience. We want you to eat like the natives do, so we take you to local restaurants. Comments about WorldStrides Tours to Italy and Greece:

World Strides does a great job of putting together an excellent tour. We were in Italy for 10 days, and had a very enjoyable experience. The hands-on, LEAP activities definitely enhanced the overall tour by allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in another culture. Cooking in Tuscany and dancing the Tarentella in Sorrento were highlights of the trip.

Comments about WorldStrides Tours to Italy and Greece:

I've taken my students of Latin to Italy and/or Greece 12 times since 1994. The first 7 trips were with less expensive companies. After my first trip with Worldstrides in 2007, I never went back to any other company. Each of my past 5 Worldstrides tours has ended with my thinking, "BEST TRIP EVER! They can't possibly top THIS trip!" And then, 2 years later, Worldstrides always gives me a trip even better than the last one! The LEAP activities, the extraordinarily knowledgeable tour directors, the centrally located hotels, and the amazingly wonderful restaurants set Worldstrides head and shoulders above the other student travel companies out there (and I've tried them all!).

Comments about WorldStrides Tours to Italy and Greece:

Our group trip to Italy had all the elements of a great trip. There was something for everyone to enjoy and at the end of our 7 days it really felt like we'd seen the best of Italy and really experienced its rich culture and history - including some of the not-so-famous things. My family loves being active together, so the walking tours (and optional hikes to amazing lookouts) was perfect for us. And my kids even enjoyed the educational aspects because the presentations by the tour guides made it fun. I think one of the things that really made this trip a great experience for us was our dedicated tour guide, Julia. She maintained a positive attitude throughout the trip, arranged for great supplementary tour guides in specific places, was very well organized, was able to adapt our day's schedule to still keep the experience exciting and educational even when the weather changed and was very knowledgeable. She was able to connect well enough with the kids for them to feel comfortable, and still have good interactions with the adults. Overall, this was an amazing trip, well planned and executed.
