It was fun spending the days exploring Washington D.C.. Our guide was pretty cool. Being in a hotel with a lot of my friends also made the trip really enjoyable. I can confidently say I learned a lot about famous document, our past presidents, and the United States as a country. Thank you.

Comments about WorldStrides Discover Washington, D.C.:

This trip was very fun, educational, and a definite bonding experience for my daughter and her travel group. She could not stop talking about everything from sightseeing and the monuments to being in a hotel room with her friends and playing games on the bus. The only complaints she had were that the days are quite long, (with only about 6 hours of sleep every night) and that the food for lunch and dinner could have been better, (lots and lots of hamburgers/fast food/mall food court) Other than those few things, she absolutely loved it. Her favorite parts she said were the Smithsonian, Holocaust Museum, souvenir shopping, and being on the bus and at the hotel with her friends.

Comments about WorldStrides Discover Washington, D.C.:

From beginning to end, World Strides cannot be beat when it comes to thorough attention to service and detail and fun. I have traveled now with them twice, and I continue to be amazed at how all things are anticipated and taken care of, relieving me and my fellow teachers/chaperones of annoying distractions and freeing us to give our full attention to the students and the trip. The tour leaders are experts in their knowledge and relate well to kids. The emphasis on making the trip kid-friendly is obvious and works!
