World Cup Details
Women’s College Teams – this is your chance to participate in lacrosse on an international level, showcase playing and coaching talent, and increase recognition for your school’s program. During your trip, you will have the opportunity to recruit and network, contribute to the global growth of the sport and experience a different culture. Click here to view a sample itinerary.
Club Programs/Independent High Schools – in addition to the main event, it has become tradition to host a World Festival of Lacrosse for traveling teams to compete in. 100 festival teams and 500 players will be in attendance. Sample itineraries for U16 & U19 teams or U13-U15 teams.
Surrey Sports Park will proudly host the 2017 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup. Opened in 2010 as part of a multi-million pound re-development of the University of Surrey, the facility has quickly become one of the UK’s premier sporting venues with an exceptional track record of hosting high profile events. All games will take place at the sports ground.
The 2017 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup will take place in Surrey, England. Located outside of London, your team will be able to see amazing sights and experience another culture. Sights to see include: The London Eye, Buckingham Palace and The Changing of the Guard, Trafalgar Square, 10 Downing Street, Big Ben and the House of Parliament, The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and much more!
