Julia

Julia Given

Vice President of Marketing

As VP of Marketing since 2013, Julia oversees the WorldStrides brand, educator outreach, customer communications, and public relations programs. She also plays an instrumental role in transitioning newly-acquired travel and education brands into the WorldStrides master brand, and coordinating the company’s marketing efforts into a seamless whole. Julia was drawn to WorldStrides out of her passion for education and the power of life experiences to contribute to student growth and achievement.

Prior to joining the company, Julia was VP of Marketing for an innovative online math and science education company. She previously worked in strategic planning for Anderson Consulting (Accenture) and for Circuit City Stores, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. In her free time, Julia enjoys marathon running all over the world and alpine skiing with her husband and four children.
