Chief Relationships Officer
Jim leads the WorldStrides teams that develop and nurture relationships with educators and students who participate on our programs. His deep expertise in building customer-responsive brands informs his stewardship of the WorldStrides’ relationship management philosophy and he is passionate about transforming education through experiential learning, offering a lifelong learning journey within our family of brands.
Jim has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and an MBA from MIT Sloan in Financial Engineering. Early in his career, he worked at IBM, McKinsey & Company, and AOL. He then spent 13 years in product marketing at Staples. Most recently he served on the Time Warner Cable leadership team, stewarding the company’s retention efforts and reducing client churn as part of the business’s turnaround record. Jim resides in Maryland with his wife and children and works from our Charlottesville office.
