Chief Marketing Officer
Jim leads the WorldStrides global marketing team, in addition to working with senior management to set strategic direction for the company. His deep expertise in building customer-responsive brands informs his stewardship of the WorldStrides brand as we continue to defend and grow our market leadership position. He has direct oversight of our Division Marketing and Conference Managers, as well as the in-house creative services team.
Jim has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and an MBA from MIT Sloan in Financial Engineering. Early in his career, he worked at IBM, McKinsey & Company, and AOL. He then spent 13 years in product marketing at Staples. Most recently he served on the Time Warner Cable leadership team, stewarding the company’s retention efforts and reducing client churn as part of the business’s turnaround record. Jim resides in Maryland with his wife and children and works from our Charlottesville office.
