Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, and General Manager, Middle School
Jim leads the WorldStrides global marketing team, and serves as General Manager for WorldStrides’ middle school programs. His deep expertise in building customer-responsive brands informs his stewardship of the WorldStrides brand and his management of the company’s largest division as we continue to grow our market leadership position. He also works with senior management to set the strategic direction for the company.
Jim has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and an MBA from MIT Sloan in Financial Engineering. Early in his career, he worked at IBM, McKinsey & Company, and AOL. He then spent 13 years in product marketing at Staples. Most recently he served on the Time Warner Cable leadership team, stewarding the company’s retention efforts and reducing client churn as part of the business’s turnaround record. Jim resides in Maryland with his wife and children and works from our Charlottesville office.
