Leadership Expeditions and Immersive Field Study Centers
Through our unique partnership with “Camps International” field study centers in 9 developing countries, service-learning trips for high school groups can become a transformative adventure in personal discovery, leadership-building and design-thinking. These are true expeditionary-style adventures—camp-style living, cultural immersive field study, and arm-in-arm work with native peoples to improve their lives. These rustic expeditions allow high school students to share rare joys like African sunsets and wild game interactions but also maximize the learning that can be derived from immersive service-learning trips by engaging students before, during and after the travel experience in diverse fields of study, such as sustainability and conservation, life sciences or biodiversity, or the most authentic form of language and cultural immersion with Spanish speaking locals and communities. And, while doing so, they will build 21st century leadership skills that will serve them forever.
