WorldStrides Excel Programs To The Tropics

What better way to play your favorite sports than by taking an international tour to the tropics? Not very much.

We are pleased to announce WorldStrides Excel Programs‘ new sports tours to beautifully warm destinations. Whether your team wants to play winter baseball in the Dominican Republic, serve aces at the foot of the Poás Volcano or score goals in the “Cradle of Mexican Soccer,” booking an international tour with us can help your team improve their play, build an unbreakable bond, and enjoy some fun in the sun.

Our customized tours allow teams to develop skills and a competitive advantage through practice sessions, competitive games and cultural immersion, exposing coaches and players to an entirely new sports experience.

Play Baseball in the Dominican Republic

In the Dominican Republic, teams have the exclusive opportunity to train at a Major League Baseball camp, learning from representatives from one of the 30 MLB franchises. Soaking in the passion of the game from the roaring crowds at the professional stadiums is an experience that cannot be mirrored. To top it all off, teams will spend the day on the white sandy beaches of Saona Island and the Palmilla Natural Pool, watching starfish.

Costa Rica Saona Island

Traveling to Costa Rica allows volleyball teams to develop their skills and spread the love of the game to the Costa Rican community. In addition to growing as athletes, the players and coaches have the opportunity to provide a coaching clinic for a youth or special needs team. Teams can also visit the world’s largest geyser at the Poás Volcano National Park, zip line through the rainforest, then travel to beautiful Jaco Beach. While there, they can squeeze in a little training near the ocean.

Azteca Soccer Stadium, Mexico City, Mexico

A soccer tour to Mexico is all about gaining an appreciation for the history of the world’s game. Visiting the “Cradle of Mexican Football” in Pachuca is priority number one. Pachuca is home of the first-ever FIFA World Football Hall of Fame and Mundo Futbol, an interactive museum where visitors experience the emotions and sensations linked to such a historical location and sport. On top of gaining a new found understanding of what soccer means to Mexico, experiencing the Mexican culture ensures the team embraces all the country has to offer.

A tour with WorldStrides Excel Programs is guaranteed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but the tropical elements add a soothing feeling that is bound to pique the interest of any team or player who wants to develop skills and gain an incomparable appreciation of the sport and culture that they have immersed themselves in.
